Roofs that bring buildings to life!

A Beautiful Church in Christchurch!

The paneling was required as the existing gable was rotten and leaking

The original construction of the roof was an aluminium flat plate in a timber frame. The metal moved in the sun and caused the mastic to fail so a new system was required that would remove the need for a mastic seal
as it could become a major problem in the future with strong winds and driving rain

We needed to keep a joint system to keep the appearance of panels and a new drip detail was required with both lead and a seal onto the tiles.

A new cover flashing seals the top of the panel which is under the soffit's

Grade II Listed Building in York

We were called to repair a Grade II Listed Building in York to replace the slate roof. The old slate tiles were well worn and becoming dangerous so we replaced them with loving care to ensure we kept the look and feel of the historic building.

House in Enfield

This house in Enfield was a classic domestic job that we loved. We built a complete new roof with insulation

,counter batten, new Redland breather membrane, new Redland tiles, dry fix ridge and verge, new fascia soffit, gutter and downpipes - all powder coated aluminium. Phew...

Flat Roofs in Bangor

This was a great job in Bangor, a bit stressful but we love a challenge. We had to negotiate a busy high street environment to build six new roofs on various levels. we had to decorate all the timber works add new render to all of the walls and fit all new doors including steel plates for maximum security.

Bats in the Belfry!

Would you believe that we got a call to protect bats in a loft! We took up the challenge and built bat entrances in to the loft roof so repairs could be carried out while protecting the bats so they could still get into the loft - one of our more bizarre but rewarding jobs!

Worcester

This was a large conversation project that saw an old, tired council office transform into new luxury apartments. What was particularly challenging was that the build time was very quick, hence the waterproofing needed to be completed very fast and had to incorporate new insulation to meet building regulations.

The Pent House is now owned by a famous local footballer as the views over the Malvern Hills are stunning!

Colmore Row, Birmingham

This is a prestigious office in the middle of Birmingham that is land locked on a very busy road. Our brief was to replace parts of the roof while keeping water out to protect and maintain the beautiful, high spec offices below.

The work included fitting slates, coatings, and asphalt - a combination to ensure the right material for the right job was used.

Broadway House

Broadway House is a very large development that used to be  all offices and is still the location of HMRC. We were involved in converting most of the building into flats and an extremely high spec gym.

Many of the flats have large outside balconies on the new flat roof to provide great outdoor living.

Concorde House, Birmingham

Located in the middle of Birmingham on Holloway Head, this iconic building has won many architectural awards.

We were contracted to waterproof the building at very short notice because we offer a new 20 year insurance backed system covering labour, materials and design, that was required for this job.

The building can be seen from the Cube which looks over the building.
